Overview
The primary responsibility of the Director of Consulting Services is to spearhead our company’s growth in our consulting revenue and solutions. This position is responsible for the overall strategy, design, implementation, cross-training, and management of new and existing solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the consulting services team. This is a player-coach role.
• Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies by evaluating needs of the industry.
• Lead rapid design and implementation of new and existing offerings.
• Perform in-depth technical discovery sessions with customers to convert into solution(s).
• Develop and grow portfolio of consulting services.
• Provide cross-functional training to allow for quick team expansion.
• Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to increase company’s value add.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize customer experience across entire company.
• Serve as a Sales Engineer on opportunities that require a more in-depth demonstration.
Qualifications
• 5+ years leading multiple technical and functional implementation projects across different higher education institutions.
• Customer service oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced IT environment and capable of motivating teams.
• Experienced in making data-driven decisions.
• Established time management skills with the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven skills in leadership development and team building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

• CRM software or process (Salesforce, Slate, Ethos, etc.)
• Higher education industry
• Implementation life-cycle
